How to Know the Business & Fine Arts Academy is Right for You:

The Business & Fine Arts Academy addresses the interests of creative, independent students who manage their own artistic promotion, finances, and businesses. Courses are also designed to support students’ interests in Entrepreneurship and Business Management. This academy will support students who want to shape their creative skills in business and the performing arts, along with those who would like to pursue a career in business after high school.

How to Know International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) Academy is Right for You:

In the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, students will explore many aspects of digital media including video game design and development, digital media and movie making, robotics, graphic design, music production and engineering. This academy focuses on project-based learning and is designed for students who are newly learning English, as well as those who are native English speakers.

In addition to providing effective and innovative educational practices, New Haven Schools of Choice are designed to foster student enrollment patterns that reflect racial, ethnic and economic diversity.

Families must apply to our schools.  Students are placed in schools through a lottery.

 

Who Can Apply

New Haven residents can apply to any magnet or charter school in the city. Our Interdistrict Magnet Schools are open to all Connecticut residents. There are no admission requirements, tests or prerequisites for our students. We serve special education students, English Language learners, talented and gifted students and everyone else who comes through the lottery to our schools. No student may be denied enrollment because of race, ethnicity or disability.
