What is the School Choice Process?
The School Choice Process supports the NHPS’ School Choice program. Through an application process families are able to select from neighborhood, magnet and charter school options that best fit their interests and educational needs!
Who Can Apply?
Your Child must be 5 years old on or before January 1, 2018

John Martinez Magnet School
Register with the Office of Choice & Enrollment at 54 Meadow Street, New Haven, CT.
The following documents are needed to register your child:
1. Birth Certificate
2. Proof of Residency (current utility bill, lease/mortgage statement with parent/guardian’s name & address)
3. Parent/Guardian Identification
Submit a School Choice Application with up to 4 school choices by applying online or drop off a completed application to the Office of Choice & Enrollment at 54 Meadow Street. Application deadline is March 5, 2017.

Bring all of your documents to the Office of Choice & Enrollment at 54 Meadow Street, New Haven, CT. You will be able to get your questions answered, register your child, and submit an application.
